Lower Elementary Intervention Workshop: Course #1 Primary Numeracy

 AVAILABLE AS AN IN PERSON WORKSHOP OR WEBINAR


The Lower Elementary Intervention Workshop focuses on basic numeracy strategies and skills.  Participants will learn how to use basic numeracy assessments to drive their instruction.  Teachers learn the building blocks for each skill set and which concepts must be mastered before the more advanced skills can be taught. By attending this workshop all participants will have full and free access to our leveled materials, intervention strategies, and assessment systems.

Upper Elementary Workshop (3-5): Multiplication and Divison

 AVAILABLE AS AN IN PERSON WORKSHOP OR WEBINAR  


The Upper Elementary Intervention Workshop focuses on the concepts of multiplication and division.  This workshop transitions teachers from the Primary Numeracy Framework that is introduced in the Lower Elementary Workshop to the Upper Elementary Framework: Multiplication and Division. Participants learn how to administer and analyze the Multiplicative Thinking Assessment and how to use the results to target their instruction.

The Upper Elementary Intervention Workshop Course #3  focuses on the concepts of fractions and decimals. This workshop focuses on how to measure a student's understanding of fractional concepts.   Once teachers know the strengths and weakness of their student's understanding of rational numbers, they are then able to  use the custom materials that the workshop provides to target their instruction.
