OUR FREE PROGRAMS & WEBINARS ARE JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBURG

The Live Virtual Workshops are a level 2 training that is designed for individuals who are new to our programs or in the beginning stages of implementation.   Level 2 training is available for both the Primary Numeracy Program (K-3) and the Multiplicative Thinking Program (3-5), offering enhanced and advanced learning opportunities. Participants can delve deeper into these programs, gaining a comprehensive understanding of numeracy and multiplicative thinking to further enrich their knowledge and teaching practices.  The workshops are a more in-depth experience than the free training webinar that is offered on the website.  These virtual workshops go over the essential components of the training webinars including the administration and scoring of the assessments and frameworks to ensure all participants have a strong understanding of the programs.  The workshops will then expand  into how to organize and use all of the resources and materials. 

One of the values of the live virtual workshops is participants will be able to interact with a consultant and ask questions in real time and follow up on any misconceptions or difficulties that they are having with implementation.

We do suggest that anyone who attends any of these level 2 virtual extension workshops view the free training level 1 webinars that are available ahead of time.

The Numeracy Specialist Program (K-5) is an expert-level training tailor-made for classroom, special ed, and math support teachers. Immerse yourself in a 4-day deep dive into math intervention, unlocking a comprehensive understanding of primary numeracy, multiplication, division, and fractions.

In this engaging course, participants will go beyond the basics, focusing on practical aspects such as creating dynamic student groups, refining target skills with differentiation, seamlessly transitioning between programs, and mastering progress monitoring and data tracking. Explore alternative forms of assessment and develop the art of planning impactful lessons and activities for students.

Participants will earn a certificate of completion for this 13-hour course (3 hours and 15 min. per day over 4 days), covering all three of our comprehensive programs. Delivered live by experienced consultants in a virtual setting, this program caters to those with some experience in administering and scoring the free assessments available on our website.

Active participation is key, with real-world scenarios presented throughout the training. Engage with your peers to discuss and navigate undetermined outcomes, honing your problem-solving skills.
