Numeracy Consultants makes math intervention instruction so systematic and effective, it’s difficult to believe I used to dread math intervention time with my students. I no longer feel lost, unsure, and without a definitive goal in place when teaching math concepts and strategies
Numeracy Consultants has loads of resources, which is nice because I have been able to dive as deeply as I feel necessary for every aspect of the program. There are videos to guide the teacher, as well as instructional videos for students—all free.
I had been working really hard to teach a particular skill to a student and I just wasn’t getting through. I usually look at videos as a cop-out to “real teaching,” but as my student was watching the Numeracy Consultants video I resigned to presenting, the kid looks up from the screen and says to me: “Oh! Now I get what you were trying to tell me! I get it now.”
While there are loads of useful, free materials that can be used alone or incorporated into a curriculum, the breadth and depth of materials you get when you purchase this program is unbelievable. The price is not high, and when you really delve into all the components, and see everything you get with your purchase, it’s a steal. Seriously.
I am a Learning Interventionist in a very large, city school district (Chicago). Every person I have referred to Numeracy Consultants is amazed with the program. They love it. I have now led trainings on program implementation for interventionists at other schools.

Numeracy Consultants has been an excellent math intervention. The training videos are easy to follow and very informative, making it simple for teachers to implement the program effectively. The materials required are minimal since we already have most of them available at school, which helps keep costs down. We are noticing good trends since starting this program. I can’t say enough about their customer support. They are always responsive, helpful, and typically respond within 24 hours. I’ve never been disappointed with their service. This will be our districts first year using Numeracy Consultants. I work as an Instructional Assistant at a 4th/5th grade building that uses Numeracy Consultant screeners. It is administered to all of our students who score 2 grade levels or more behind on their beginning of the year iReady test. This program is exceptional as it pinpoints their lowest level of deficit. Our team works with small groups of students to teach them the skills they struggle with. Our goal is to have them either on grade level or within 1 grade by the end of the year. Once they master the Primary Numeracy Assessment Screener, we move on to the Multiplicative Screener, which is my personal favorite. I have watched the training videos over and over to refresh areas I need a reminder on. However, on several occasions, I have emailed Numeracy Consultants for assistance. Their responses are always friendly, prompt, and answer the questions I have. I am very grateful for this support! This program is fantastic and I'm thrilled our school district purchased it for our students.
